The Gail Bierenbaum Women’s Leadership Council (GBWLC) is dedicated to giving back to Rider. Our goal is 100% participation by all of our members. Together, we have raised more than $1.25M in support of scholarships and grants for Rider women. Please join us by supporting one of our GBWLC initiatives.

The Gail Bierenbaum Women’s Leadership Scholarship Endowment:
Created by Gail and Barry ’76 Bierenbaum, the GBWLC Scholarship endowment provides four-year renewable scholarships for female Rider students. A requirement of the scholarship is for students to participate in the GBWLC mentoring program.

Women Helping Women Current Use Fund:
Created by Laura Glotzbach ’97, this fund provides support for female GBWLC students to realize their academic, personal, and professional dreams and goals. This fund awards financial support for professional development and leadership opportunities such as conferences and competitions, internship expenses, research, certifications, etc.

The GBWLC/Newcombe Scholarship:
For more than 30 years, Rider has enjoyed a relationship with the Charlotte W. Newcombe Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to providing scholarships to mature female students with financial need.

The GBWLC Fund:
This fund supports the general operating costs for the Gail Bierenbaum Women's Leadership Council. This includes lunches for protege team meetings, supplies for GBWLC events, funding for special initiatives, and other needs as they arise.
